Khawja Imran Masud is a PhD student in Information Science (with a major in Data Science) at the University of North Texas, where he serves as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at the Data Science Department in the Interdisciplinary Data Driven Decision (D3) Lab. His current research focuses on applying scientific machine learning to earth informatics, to be more specific on air quality modeling and forecasting using physics-guided and causality-aware deep learning frameworks. He is currently on study leave from his role as Assistant Professor of the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at Dhaka University of Engineering & Technology (DUET), Gazipur, Bangladesh. Earlier he was a lecturer in the Department of CSE at Uttara University. He received his B.Sc. Engineering and M.Sc. Engineering degrees in Computer Science and Engineering from DUET. He received the Prime Minister Gold Medal 2018 and the University Gold Medal 2018 for securing the first-class first position overall at DUET in the class of 2018. He also received the UGC merit award and the Dean's Award for his academic excellence. He actively participated in various co-curricular activities and took leadership roles in organizing numerous events. His goal is to be a paramount researcher in his field, and he looks forward to exploiting his abilities and potential for the betterment of the world.
